As a manager
As a manager it is important that you know how to increase the attitude-capital of the group you lead. This aspect is discussed in the book 'The Power of the Attitude-Capital' but also in the specific training sessions and seminars for executives. When you increase the attitude-capital of the group you lead, you increase significantly the chances that your group gets more easily the objectives and becomes successful.
Assuming that the attitude-capital is already high, is too easy even if at first sight already sufficient success is achieved, because maybe it is possible to achieve even more success than today. And if you manage to increase significantly the success of the group you manage, you will get real and natural leadership. Increasing the attitude-capital of the group you lead is the best way to improve the results and the success of this group. Any other approach works on aspects that are dependent on the level of the attitude-capital.
As an executive
As an executive you evaluate continuously the company assets, both tangible and intangible assets. But during that evaluation a very important point is often forgotten: the attitude- capital as one of the most important assets. Without an attitude-capital that is high, the value of all other assets at risk. And this is certainly the intention because you're aiming for security and growth for your business. The attitude-capital of the company is a gatekeeper that controls the effect of all other investments: if employees have not the right attitude the can even annihilate the most interesting investment, and only a few employees with the wrong attitude can cause this already. That is why it is so important to be aware of all the aspects that build the attitude-capital and also to invest in the development of the attitude-capital of the employees. All these aspects are the topics of the in-company seminars, the open seminars, the power-talks, the consultancy and the coaching.
As a starter-entrepreneur
As a starter-entrepreneur you often think that having that unique idea or unique product is already good enough. And often this is also the case. Based on your passion, the originality of your idea or the product and your network, you may succeed also to find sufficient funding. But even if the funding represents a substantial capital, often the financial reserves are running out fast. On top, often your unique idea or unique product could turn out not to be as unique or others could easily imitated it if there are no very strong patents that can be defended.
This means that even with a strong funding, as a starter-entrepreneur you must make results as soon as possible. If you have a product that is commercially ready this means realize positive sales successes as soon as possible and if your product is in development, it means come up as soon as possible with a product that is ready for commercial sale.
What really will make the difference at that time, is what attitude-capital you and the other people in your start-up have. The right strategy can help but even the best strategy can lose all impact in the absence of a strong attitude-capital. And the presence of only passion, a good strategy or funding that allows medium-term survival, are absolutely insufficient.
As an employee
Also as an employee, the attitude-capital is extremely important for you, more important than knowledge, experience, skills and talent, because attitude determines how all those elements are transformed into success: in case of lack of the right attitude, the value of knowledge, experience, skills and talent becomes small to irrelevant. And as a result, the chances of you being successful are minimal to non-existing. Having the right attitude as an employee increases not only your individual success, but it contributes also to the attitude-capital of the company and as a result to the success of the company. So you added value of increasing your attitude-capital will be that as well as for the company you work, as for your customers, but even for the your wider working environment, you will become a person that is valued by everyone.
